Once you've made your final payment, congratulations-you own the car outright! The lender releases the lien on your title, and you'll receive your vehicle's title free and clear in the mail. This makes the car fully yours to keep, sell, trade, or pass on.

The process is automatic; the lender handles notifying the state, and your title arrives with no lienholder noted. You can then register the car in your name alone, update insurance, and enjoy full ownership freedom.

If you have questions about your loan's final stages or want to understand the payoff process, our Finance team is happy to explain. Call (630) 598-9986 anytime-we're here to help you understand every step of your ownership journey.
